Angela “Jill” Malone (nee Daddino)rnRiverside ResidentrnrnAngela “Jill” Malone (nee Daddino), age 92, peacefully passed away into God’s loving care on December 11, 2008. Born and raised in Delanco, she attended the Hickory Street Elementary School. She graduated from Burlington City High School “Class of 1933”, and later attended Rutgers University. Since her marriage in 1938, she lived in Riverside and was a faithful parishioner of St. Peter’s RC Church. She was active in St. Peter’s PTA, served as Treasurer and President of Holy Cross High School PTA, and enjoyed working long hours on fundraising events. She was a substitute teacher in Christ the King Elementary School in Haddonfield, Delanco Public Elementary School, and Teacher’s aide for Perceptually Impaired classes in Riverside Elementary School, retiring in 1990. rnrnIn her retirement years, she enthusiastically volunteered at Zurbrugg Memorial Hospital in Riverside, and served on committees for Ladies’ Auxiliary and Designers’ Show House projects. Education being ever important to her, she privately tutored children in her own home until she was 86. She was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis, St. Peter’s Church and truly enjoyed going to daily Mass, finding her greatest peace in church. She devoted her life to teaching, traveling, volunteering, baking, crocheting, avidly reading, listening to Italian music, watching Phillies’ games, playing cards, working crossword puzzles, and most of all, being involved in the lives of all of her family, friends and relatives. rnrnHer beloved husband of 50 years, Edward Louis Malone, predeceased her in 1989, as did her son Edward “Buddy” Malone, Jr. in 1969, and grandson C. Eddy Malone in 1995. She is survived by her brother Anthony (Ursula) Daddino of Toms River, NJ, and sister-in-law of Freda Daddino of Burlington, NJ, and preceded in death by her sister Elaine Gentile, brothers Vincent Daddino and Thomas Daddino, and sister-in-law Terry Daddino.rnrnShe will be forever missed by everyone who knew her, especially her daughter Rae (William) Toffel of Moorestown, NJ, daughter Marie Stone of Grant, FL, son Joseph (Bonnie) Malone of Medford Lakes, NJ, and daughter Dolly (Barry) Katona of Superior, CO, her grandchildren Bill (Pam) Holzinger, Sharon (Ron) Hillman, Bill (Melissa) Toffel, Jim Toffel, Roland (Amy) Stone, Thurston Stone, Ashlie, Daniel and Michael Katona, and great grandchildren, Ronnie, Lauren and Brian Hillman, Blake and Allison Holzinger, Gianna Stone, and many nieces and nephews.rnrnRelatives and friends are invited to call Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday 8:30 to 9:30 AM at SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME, Riverside, NJ. Funeral mass to follow at 10:00 AM at St. Peter’s RC Church, Bridgeboro & Hancock Streets, Riverside, NJ.
