“Some people care too much, I think it’s called love” – Winnie the Pooh. Barbie loved those around her unconditionally, and told them as much whenever she had the chance. If you met her once she’d always remember your name, and she knew everyone’s birthday. Always with a sense of gratitude, she appreciated anything that was done for her. But, being blessed with a natural sense of happiness, it never took much to bring a smile to her face: when it came to movies it was The Sound of Music, in the land of Winnie the Pooh, Tigger was king and when it came to food she’d rather have McDonald’s than lobster. rn Barbie is survived by her brother Stephen (Joanne) of Florida, sisters: Patricia Palermo of Edgewater Park and Kathleen Woertz (Arthur) of Jobstown and her nieces and nephews: Beth, Heidi, Karen, Tommy, Stephen and Amy.rn Come celebrate Barbara’s 58 loving years (March 15, 1953-May 22, 2011) from 8:30-10 AM Friday at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside.
