Shropshire operated her Bookstore on Scott St in Riverside, NJ for over 40 years.rnrnBarbara was a decorated WWII Veteran and met her husband, Harvey C. Shropshire, Jr, also a Decorated WWII Vet in 1945 in NYC when he returned from Stalag 7A. They fell so in love that ten days later they were married and in 1993 when Harvey passed away, Barbara always considered herself married to Harvey.
