Carl Moore

Carl Moore, of Edgewater Park, died April 23, 2023, at 55 of natural causes.

Carl was known for his wit, intelligence, and charm, and his generosity in helping friends. He took pride in his strength, hustle and skill with his hands. Most of his working years were as a commercial and residential house painter, power-washing, and doing odd jobs. He loved the outdoors, fishing, wood craft, playing guitar, and just being with the many friends he made so easily. A beloved son and brother, he was protective of his parents and two brothers. He will be missed.

Carl was a graduate of Burlington City High School. He is survived by his mother, Connie Moore; two brothers, Eric and Neal; and extended family beyond Edgewater Park. He was predeceased by his father, Harry Moore.

His family is deeply grateful to the people in our community who treated both Carl and our family very respectfully and with care, navigating an extremely difficult journey for us all. We are deeply grateful to them.

We are grateful to the kind souls in Carl’s world who tried to help, and we know he would express that too if he could. Carl’s memory is all around us. Thank you.
