Mount Laurel — Catherine Phelps passed away at her home in the early morning hours of April 3.
She lived all 59-years of her life to the fullest extent. An avid QVC shopper, Cathy was always decked out in her favorite Judith Ripka jewelry. She also loved going out to eat and spending time with family and friends, and wouldn’t pass up a chance to grab a coffee at Starbucks. Cathy also enjoyed reading and watching movies, always up for a good scare.
She also had a successful career that she loved; starting as a medical coder at Rancocas Hospital and working as an insurance auditor for Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia and Executive Health Resources.
Most importantly, Cathy was a loving, supportive, and proud mom. Always reaching out for a hug, especially when it was from her pup Zoey.
She was loved by her surviving family: daughter Sara Phelps (Scott Ketterer), twin brother John (Kathleen) Wade, father John Wade and nephew John (Ericka) Wade. She was predeceased by her nephew Daniel Wade and her mother Alberta Wade.
Donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research would be greatly appreciated.
Join us to celebrate her life and share memories on Tuesday April 10, from 6-8 p.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Beverly.
