Age 88 – Lifelong resident of Riverside, NJ

On September 8, 2023. Loving wife of James A. Renshaw, Sr. Beloved mother of James Renshaw Jr. (Denise Sullivan), Joseph Renshaw, Elaine (Dale) Nixon, Nancy (Frank) Piazza, Diann Lisnak, Richard Renshaw (Dawn Mader), Karen (Ted) Brann. Also survived by 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister in law Margaret (Harry); daughter in law Daria Lutgen; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her son David, her 6 siblings;  her parents Joseph and Verna Kunteski; and her son in law Joe Lisnak.

Marie met the love of her life James while still walking the halls of Riverside High School. They spent 70 years together, and 68 years married. On their wedding day, James and Marie visited Stewart’s Root Beer Stand and continued that tradition on every anniversary. She enjoyed traveling, attending her children’s sporting events, shopping as well as watching Figure Skating, Golf, the Phillies and eating her sweets.  She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Marie retired from a local hospital after 20 years where she had many friends. Marie was caring, understanding, and above all, loving.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 9am-10am at Resurrection Parish, Riverside NJ. (St Casimir site). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Samaritan Hospice by visiting www.samaritannj.org/giving/.
