CURRENT CELEBRATIONS
Antonio Borba
As a child, Antonio, a native of Azores, helped his father with the farm, mainly with cow care in the morning. When he came to America he started to work in the local Italian bakery, but to earn more, he decided to work in construction. In his twenties he worked under others and was working for himself as a carpenter. He was married at 22, and had two children. Construction work was his lifelong job, granting him a very good financial position which provided his family with a comfortable life. Antonio’s only day of rest was Sunday because that’s when the Philadelphia Eagles would play. If he wasn’t watching a sports game, he was most likely learning something new on the Discovery Channel. When he wanted to get out of the house for some fresh air he would walk around at his favorite place, Pennington Park in Delanco.
Antonio is survived by Neli and two children Bruno Borba and Amanda Feeley (Rich). His grandson Greyson Feeley, and siblings Maria, Ilda, Adelino, Gorti, Honorio, and Elizabeth.
A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W Main Street, Moorestown, Friday June 30th from 10am-11am where there will be an 11am mass and burial to follow.
