CURRENT CELEBRATIONS

Charles Yannarella

Charles Yannarella

Charles passed away surrounded by his loving family.  Charles was loved by many. He was also a little stubborn….  🙄😉.  and extremely charming. Charles was a Navy man and worked in the manufacturing field.

He was a terrific grandfather. He loved his children,  grands and all their friends.  If his T.V was on, he’d be checking out some Two and a Half Men, Seinfeld and Jerry Springer and was always cheering on his beloved Yankees. But he also kept up on current affairs, especially the local news. He was a rugged guy with a soul from times past: proud to roll his own cigarettes. He loved bowling and watching his daughter’s Tuesday Night Pool Team.

When he was outdoors, he’d most likely be doing some gardening and admiring his roses.  He loved his daughters eggplant parm and he rarely missed a desert, Charles had a notorious sweet tooth: Lemon Pies, M&M’s and Hershey Kisses, there wasn’t a desert he didn’t like.

Charles is survived by his daughters, Christine (Thomas) and Sherry; grandchildren – Justin, Shane, Alena, Ryan, Cali, and Jake; great-grandchild Bentley; his siblings: Joyce Chafin, Billy Yannarella and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased by his children: Jimmy and Julie.
