Daniel Bianchini

Daniel Bianchini

He had a creative side; Dan loved folk mountain music and country western. In his youth he played the guitar but his arthritis made him transition to the mandolin. He was always carving some new creation, built a few dulcimers, painted and bowled from his early years until just recently. Dan gave back to both his son and his community as a Senior Boy Scoutmaster for Delanco Troop 19. If his T.V was on he’d be drawing inspiration from westerns of the 50’s and 60’s. He was a graduate of Camden High class of ’47 and was the maintenance foreman for Pennsylvania State Hospital. He spent his formative years in Camden and lived in Delanco for many years before moving a few years ago to Locust Grove Virginia.
A pretty girl lived a few blocks from the young Daniel. He and the late Isabel “Blanche” would marry (July 8, 1950) and share a 68-year marriage blessed by a son, Joe (Louise), granddaughter, Danielle (Eric) Fetter and great grandchildren, Joseph and Emily.
Come celebrate 95 great years Wednesday July 31, 6-8 p.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Mausoleum service will be held Thursday August 1, 11 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, Cinnaminson.
