Elizabeth “Boo” Wilson

Elizabeth “Boo” Wilson

Elizabeth had a style all her own, often seen sporting her signature colorful glasses, which matched her bright and warm personality. A true home cook, Elizabeth’s kitchen was always filled with the comforting aroma of her famous chicken cutlets, homemade meatballs, and mashed potatoes, meals made with love that brought her family together. When she wasn’t cooking, she enjoyed long walks outside, finding peace in nature. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she made sure it was magical for everyone, filling the season with love, laughter, and traditions that will be cherished forever. She also had a soft spot for TV dramas, especially Law & Order and all things romantic and sappy. She was a great listener, the kind of person who made you feel truly heard, and no matter what, she always showed up for her family. Her grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Mom-Mom,” considered her not just their grandmother but their best friend. She lived for them, whatever they wanted to do, she was right there, making memories that will last a lifetime.

Elizabeth shared a beautiful love story with her late husband, James. The two grew up in the same town, fell in love at just 15 years old, and spent the next 40 years building a life together. Their love was a true partnership, a testament to commitment and devotion.

Elizabeth is survived by her children: James Jr. (Gina) Bradley, Bobby Wilson, Brittney (Dave) Bradley; grandchildren: Krystiona, Kylee, and CJ; siblings: Trish Bradley, Jim (Peggy) Wilson, and Ellen Wilson, along with many nephews and niceces.

Come celebrate 55 great years on Tuesday March 4, 2025 from 11am-1pm at Sweeney Funeral Home, 337 Bridgeboro Street, Riverside, where there will be a 1pm service.
