Florence “Reenie”Heal

At the Maple Hill Restaurant there often weren’t enough tables for the number of customers that wanted Reenie to be their waitress. Everybody loved her. Her happy place was definitely down the shore: LBI. Yes, for the beach and relaxation but also for the lighthouses. She liked collecting them as well as dragonflies and butterflies. If her T.V was on she’d be checking out the Voice, I.D. shows (especially Buried in the Backyard.) Reenie loved old time rock and roll and country: Patsy Cline and Randy Travis. She was a great cook but usually made portions that could last a week. She grew up in Riverside and lived in Pennsauken, Maple Shade and, most recently, Edgewater Park.
Through friends she’d meet a handsome guy named Don; the two would marry in 2018. She was the mother of Sandra (Mike) Nolan, Robert Quick III, and Paul Quick; grandmother of Stephanie (Adam), Danny, Cadince and Makayla; great grandmother of Kendal, Gavin, Veda and Matilda; and sister of Stephan (Ray) Hunter, Ethel (Roland) Willis, Lois (Jersey) Hamersly, Jill Goyette and the late John Hunter.
Come celebrate 68 great years Saturday August 24th, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, 337 Bridgeboro Street, Riverside where there will be a 1 p.m. service.
