GREGORY P. DMOCHOWSKI

GREGORY P. DMOCHOWSKI

May 27, 1957-June 30, 2023

Riverside, NJ – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Dmochowski, a beloved brother, father, uncle, and friend.  Gregory’s journey on this earth began on May 27, 1957 and came to a peaceful end on June 30, 2023.

Gregory was known as a soft spoken, intelligent man with a warm heart and gentle nature.  He was an avid reader who would read his monthly National Geographic Magazine from cover to cover and enjoyed thoughtfully discussing the details of every article.  He also enjoyed classic movies as well as educational and nature programs on TV with a special affinity for the Discovery Channel, The History Channel, and PBS.  He loved learning new things and the interesting discussions that would follow.

Family was of paramount importance to Greg.  He cherished the holidays which brought our large family together and created so many loving, lasting memories.

Born and raised in Riverside, Greg graduated from St. Casimir’s Elementary School and Riverside High School in 1975.  He always worked in the local area with most of his career spent at Lockheed Martin in Moorestown.

On the more lighthearted side, Greg was known to family and friends as an enthusiastic eater with a large appetite though he never gained a pound.  From his early years as a child to the days before his death, Greg loved to eat!

Greg is survived by his daughter Lisa Collinsgru and his granddaughter Maddelin Collinsgru both of Summerville, SC; his siblings:  John (Susan) Dmochowski of Falmouth, MA, Constance (Marc) Vink of Riverton, NJ, Theresa (William) Seader of Evans, GA, Julian (Susan) Dmochowski of Riverside, NJ, Michael (Rhonda) Dmochowski of Brunswick, ME, Anne (John) Raven of Cinnaminson, NJ, and Daniel (Denise) Dmochowski of Spring Lake, NJ; along with many, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Greg is also survived by his former wife, Rosie Dmochowski.  He is predeceased by his son Joseph Dmochowski, his sister Rosemary (Fred) Porter, and his parents Julian and Margaret Dmochowski.

Come celebrate Greg’s 66 years on July 14, 2023, from 9-10 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, 337 Bridgeboro Street, Riverside.  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson.  Interment will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Bridgeboro Street, Riverside.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:  epilepsyservicenj.org or support.whyy.org.
