Linda Stoltz
Through all of life’s ups and down Linda remained the rock that her family and friends could lean on. She and her brother-in-law owned a tanning salon in Blackwood for a little while, but her real calling in life was as a wife and mother. She hosted many a function, filling her home with love, laughter and song. Of course, it was also a home filled with pets of all varieties: dogs, cats, birds and fish. She was a wiz behind the stove, especially when it came to cooking Italian: the best sauce, incredible mushrooms and pepper and tasty venison. If she wasn’t on vacation, she’d be planning another: Linda went on many adventures including an 11,000 mile road trip with her husband to experience America. She loved the sounds of U2 and David Bowie and the occasional trip to Atlantic City to battle the slots.
Riverside Sports Night 1977 found Linda as captain of the White team, defeating the dastardly Maroon. Of course, it turns out that there was a handsome graduate who had come back to the high school to help to record the event. Gary couldn’t seem to get her to answer the phone so he cornered her at the library to ask her out. They’d share a 47-year marriage blessed by two children: Michael and Samantha. She is survived by her sisters, Lisa Donatiello and Joanne (George) Joo.
