Lucille Ann Teter, 68, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026. Born on August 2, 1957, in Philadelphia, Lucille was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, and friend whose kindness and faith touched the lives of many.

Lucille was the beloved wife of Michael Teter and a loving mother to her three children: Judy, Michael, and Jonathan. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Nilan, son of Judy and her husband Naveen, and to Eliza and Julia, daughters of Michael and his wife Diana. Lucille also shared a close and loving bond with her sister, Judy Gatto.

A lifelong educator, Lucille dedicated many years to teaching at Holy Assumption School and Helen Fort Middle School, later serving as a substitute teacher at Mark Newbie Elementary. She found great joy in helping students learn and grow, and she was admired for her patience, warmth, and encouragement.

Lucille was a devoted Catholic whose faith guided her life and inspired her deep compassion for others. She was known for her selfless spirit and unwavering devotion to her family. She had a passion for gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends, often bringing people together with her warm hospitality and caring heart.

Lucille will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the wisdom she shared, and the countless lives she touched. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Come celebrate 68 great years on Thursday March 19th from 6-8pm at Sweeney Funeral Home 337 Bridgeboro St, Riverside and again on Friday March 20th from 9am-10:45am at Sacred Heart Church 103 Fourth St Riverton, NJ 08077. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am. Entombment immediately to follow at Jesus Bread of Life Catholic Cemetery 3055 Fostertown Rd, Mt Laurel.
