CURRENT CELEBRATIONS

Michael Avery Jr

Michael Avery Jr

Teachers at Riverside High School were amazed at Michael’s prowess on the baseball field. While attending high school he played a lead role on the baseball team winning two state championships. He went on to Burlington County College where he also made a fine showing in baseball.

Michael had many jobs throughout his life, but he spent most of his time with McHugh’s Landscaping in Delran.

Michael was a strong protector of his family. He stayed loyal to them in any circumstance. He is survived by his father Michael Sr., his son Joshua, his siblings Dawn Agey and Patrick, and nephews Gavin and Jordan, and one niece Summer. He is predeceased by his mother Sharon.

Come celebrate 44 great years at Sweeney Funeral Home 337 Bridgeboro Street, Riverside, on Wednesday June 28th from 10am-12pm where there will be a noon service.
