Michael Paul Slawinski Sr.

Michael Paul Slawinski Sr.

Michael Paul Slawinski Sr. was born on November 14, 1956, to Edward F. Slawinski Jr. & Susan Slawinski (Barlow) at Zurbrugg Memorial Hospital in Riverside, New Jersey.

Mike started his own towing company at 16 years old, known as “Mike’s Towing” and operated out of Riverside for over 30 years. He was a handyman and a longtime friend to those in the area. Mike loved to make people laugh; he always had lightning-quick wits, especially with a joke. He was efficient, eclectic, and eccentric. His work ethic and acts of service are what help us to envision him as an essential light in our lives. In his free time, he enjoyed having a coffee while listening to music and working on his project cars, and racing them at Atco Dragway.

Michael was predeceased by his father Edward Slawinski Jr., who died March 20, 2006, and brother Edward Slawinski III., who died March 23, 2021. He is survived by his mother Susan, wife Vicki (Cicero), sister Paula, sons Michael Jr. and Nicholas, daughter Sara, and his grandchildren Milan and Jett.

Services will be held at Sweeney Funeral Home, 337 Bridgeboro Street, Riverside NJ 08075 on August 8, 2023, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to his GoFundMe Campaign, to help with the costs of his final wishes.
