Patsi  (Patricia Giarnieri)

Patsi  (Patricia Giarnieri)

She was a mom for the ages: it took little more than Patsi’s “mom face” to get her kids to comply.  During her career she helped many a family settle into a new home: she was a realtor for many years for Nicola Realty.  In her earlier years she played in a band on the West Coast everywhere from California to Washington; she was the singer but could play the piano like a professional. But she found her real calling late in life, that of a grandmother; she’d keep the grands occupied with trips to parks and the zoo but there was nothing warmer than her home when she showered them with love.  One day a week she’d bring her whole clan back to her home: “Sauce Sundays” found a pot of the sauce on the stove and the home filled with family and music.

As a cocktail waitress she’d meet a handsome insurance agent who was out celebrating his birthday.  She and the late Joe shared a marriage blessed with 5 children: Brian Meads, Sandi (John) MacDougall, Tony (Christine) Giarnieri), Mia Giarnieri, and William Giarnieri; and late by grandchildren: Hope, Brandon, Brian, Julie, Joey, Angelee, Kyle, Nick, Zachary, Theresa, Joey, Matthew, Mason and Kerri.  Patsi is survived by her siblings, Celeste Striker and Anthony Iacovelli.

Come celebrate 77  years on Wednesday from 10:30- 11:30 am at Sweeney  Funeral Home, Riverside. Interment Brigadier William  C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to diabetes.org
