Ronald W Foulks

Some said Ron was set in his ways but those who love him the most knew he was grouchy. Of course, that was only until he got what he really wanted: the opportunity to help his friends and family. His second favorite passion was fishing: if there was a body of water it wasn’t long ‘til he’d arrive, rod in hand, checking to see if they were any fish: Lake Suey to the Ocean and everything in between. In his younger years he had a boat out of Tuckerton. And later in life Ron settled into his real calling: grandfather. He was the granddad who took all the kids to Seaside for some fishing and spent many an hour watching wrestling and football with them. If they weren’t around, however, he’d be checking out some Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Andy Griffith or lots of other classic T.V., lying in bed surrounded by his two cats, Socks and Tiger. Ron was a custodian in Cinnaminson for 29 years.

Ron was set up on a date with a pretty girl, the late Ellen M Foulks (Wilson); they’d share a 42-year marriage blessed by children: Norma (Brad), David (Mary), and Christina; grandchildren: Bradley Jr, Matthew, Taylor, David Jr, Brittany, Danielle, and Dakota; along with 3 great-grandchildren.

Come celebrate 83 years Saturday 9-10:30 am at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside, where there will be a service at 10:30 am. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinn.
