Ronald Zimmerman

Ronald Zimmerman

Ronald had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Whether it was offering a listening ear, providing support, or simply being there for others, he made a lasting impact on all who knew him. Ron was known for his independent spirit and stubborn resolve. He fiercely fought to maintain his autonomy and refused to let any obstacle stand in his way. In his early twenties, Ronald was an avid athlete and played on a tennis team for people in wheelchairs. He found joy in leisure activities such as playing cards and online games with his friends. Ron was not much of a cook, but he could definitely order up a great meal at WaWa.

Ronald is survived by his parents Barry and Donna Zimmerman who loved Ron more than anything, and his siblings Wendy (Craig) Harkins, Denise (Monty) Miller, and Mark (Marni) Zimmerman. Along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

Come celebrate 62 great years at the Sell Chapel on Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA on Friday April 5th at 11am. Donations can be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital https://donate.lovetotherescue.org, an organization that Ronald’s Dad was passionate about and involved in with volunteering to transport families to doctors appointments in Philadelphia.
