Theresa V. Loughlin

Theresa V. Loughlin

Theresa V. Loughlin of Delanco NJ, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2023. She was formally from New York City and moved to New Jersey 20 years ago.

Every morning, rain or shine, Theresa would make her favorite trip to the Delran Coffee Shop for breakfast.

In her younger years, Theresa enjoyed traveling around the world to places like Europe and Ireland. Later in life her and her sister would travel more locally to Atlantic City for fun on the slots. She was a lover of not only Atlantic City, but also of locally played BINGO. Her love of games even continued at home where she would always have a TV game show running.

Theresa was fond of embroidery and would often give her embroidered gifts to family and friends for birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions. Her thoughtful and personalized gifts were always appreciated and treasured by those who received them.

Her favorite time of the year came around every December when Christmas would arrive. She enjoyed celebrating with her family and spending special time with them. Birthdays were also very special to her, as she was always the life of the party.

Theresa and her sister Mary would spend endless amounts of time together. They weren’t just sisters, but considered themselves to be best friends. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and they supported and cherished each other through every triumph and challenge. For the last ten years Theresa was living at Living Springs in Delanco, where she had many good friends.

Theresa is survived by her sister Mary Paulson, her nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers: John, Matthew, and Roger.

Come celebrate 80 years on Sunday May 7, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Sweeney Funeral Home, 337 Bridgeboro Street, Riverside NJ 08075. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The National Kidney Foundation: www.kidney.org
