Timothy P. Lightfoot

Timothy P. Lightfoot died peacefully while being surrounded by loved ones on Nov. 3, 2024, at the age of 62. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Eugene Lightfoot and Sondra Eileen Lightfoot (nee)Zigrang. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Colleen Lightfoot, His sons Benjamin (Jessica) Lightfoot, Steven (Marissa) Lightfoot, his grandchildren David and Aubree, his sisters Susan (Mark), Brenda (Dirk), his brother Kenneth (Karen), and multiple nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Tim was born in South Bend, Indiana. He has been a long-time resident of Riverside, NJ. An active member of The First Moravian Church, Tim loved God, his family, and his pets. He was a diehard Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Braves fan, who worked at Aluminum Shapes and Simon and Schuster. Tim, a generous, friendly, family man who enjoyed camping in the pine barrens, campfires, going to concerts, cooking, and gardening.

Everyone is invited on Nov. 23, 2024, to the first Moravian Church of Riverside, 228 E. Washington St. Riverside, NJ 08075, for a celebration of Tim’s Life. Visitation will begin at 10:30am with a service to follow at 11:00am. A luncheon to follow in Hahle Hall (Sunday School Bldg.) The family is asking for attendees to wear their favorite sports team jerseys. If you don’t like sports, something orange or turquoise will do. Also, in lieu of flowers donations can be made in Timothy’s honor to Rams Boosters 112 E Washington Street Riverside NJ 08075.
