Charles William Zollner, Jr. was born February 22, 1959 on an Air Force Base in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Chuckie ( as he was known by his friends and family) was the son of Charles William Zollner Sr. and Margaret Zollner (Evans), formerly of Delran and Riverside.
He was the father of Jessica Nicole Zollner (Andrew) of Linden, NJ. A beloved grandfather of Aubrey and Ava. He was the oldest brother to Margaret Wallace (Gary) of Riverside, Patricia McColl (Patrick) of Lunenberg, Massachusetts, Michael (Jacqui) of Westampton, and Christopher (Lisa) of Burlington, Massachusetts. He has many nieces and nephews: Kayla, Nicholas(Rachel), Ryan, Colin(Jordan), Jana, Liam, and Eva, as well as a great niece, Lucianna, and a great nephew, Nicholas.
Charles enjoyed life, and his siblings would describe his laugh as resembling Woody the Woodpecker. He enjoyed concerts as a teenager. He loved the shore and fishing. When not out on his boats (he sunk 2), you could find him working and landscaping his yard when he lived in Cape May. He was known for helping his neighbors with rides, which his siblings titled Chubering (the Chuck Uber). He was a handyman and would help his father endlessly on the weekends with projects around the house.
He was most proud of his daughter Jessica and her daughters, Aubrey and Ava. He left them a special gift of recording his voice reading “Hey Diddle, Diddle Nursery Rhymes’ attached to an audiobook so they will always be able to remember his voice.
There will be no viewing or funeral services. A memorial will be had that is private and family only.
