Claire M. “Sis” Kairaitis, 99, of Riverton died peacefully on Wednesday, March 13 at Riverview Estates in Riverton. Claire grew up in Riverside, spent most of her life in Delanco and also lived in Burlington. She owned and operated Claire’s Beauty Salon in Delanco for more than 40 years. She was a proud member of St. Peters Altar & Rosary Society and for the VFW for many years. Claire’s will always be remembered for her kind spirit and energetic nature.
She was the loving wife of the late William Kairaitis and mother of the late Cecelia Werden. Claire will be sadly missed by her granddaughters, Karen Hamlin and Jacquelyn (Anthony) Caruso, her great-grandchildren, Anthony (Jaclyn) Caruso and Christine Caruso; great-great grandchildren Derek and Aubrey Caruso; her sister, Eleanor Constantino, her nieces and nephews and many other friends she made along the way. She was predeceased by her siblings, Victor Sprangers, Edward Fabritis, Earl Fabritis, Marge Pica, Ethel DeLissio, Louis Fabritis, and Mary Alice Fabritis.
Her caregivers at Riverview Estates were instrumental in helping Claire live her life to the fullest every day and a special thank you is extended to each of them.
Come celebrate 99 great years on Monday from 8 – 10 am at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am at Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Peters Church.
