Dane Michael Carver passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2016 in Darien, Ill. He was 26.
Dane was born Dec. 12, 1989 in Mount Holly, N.J. He spent his childhood in Mount Laurel, N.J. and graduated from Lenape High School in 2008. Dane grew up in a loving family with his mother, Karen, and younger brother, Drew, along with his loving sister, Ashley; grandmother, Joan Coppola; uncles, Stephen, Randy, and Bob Coppola; and first cousins, Kyle, Kristan, John, Stephen, Jac, Mia, and Maddie. Dane was looking forward to spending his life with Jessica Moses, who made him very happy over the last few months.
Dane was an intelligent, thoughtful person. His sharp wit and gentle soul left a positive impact on everyone he met. He was always there for his family and friends willing to take on any challenge and to make everyone smile during difficult times.
Dane took pride in his work and truly enjoyed his position as a machine operator for LORAM Maintenance of Way, Inc. He particularly enjoyed the opportunities it provided him to travel and see different parts of the United States while making new friends.
Family, friends, and folks who want to pay their respects to Dane, please join us as we honor our beloved. We are gathering from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12, and 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Sweeney Funeral Home in Riverside, N.J., where a short service will follow at 11 a.m. with burial immediately after. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside, N.J.
