He marched to his own drum: Dan was always an oddity wrapped upped in maturity. As a child his creative juices were already flowing. At age three he began crafting stories about ghosts, goblins and monsters that his mother would write for down him while he would illustrate. Some kids have an imaginary friend; he had millions, all named Amy. In later years while most kids were comfortable wearing jeans and a shirt, Danny chose to dress to the nines. He loved animals, but even chose unusual pets: an iguana, rats, rabbit, guinea pigs and piranhas. Recent years still found him creating, writing stories and painting. His portraits even used a different kind of medium: spray paint on canvas. He always wore a big smile and spoke only good about his fellow man. rnrnDan is survived by his parents, John and Kathy; his brothers, John (Ericka) Wade and Josh Gaunt and grandparents, John and Alberta Wade.rnrnCome celebrate 21 creative years Tuesday 8-10 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, 478 Cooper Street, Beverly.
