She and her devoted husband married on January 28, 1950 and lived in the home they built in Delran for 61 years. As a young mother, Jennie played softball and tennis and volunteer coached her daughters in various sports and activities.
Jennie loved to cook and host gatherings of friends and families throughout the year especially on Christmas Eve. Another favorite pastime was feeding and observing the numerous songbirds and hummingbirds who visited during the summer months.
