Her Swedesboro home was always open to all her kid’s friends. Nothing made her happier than having a flock of youngsters about. Somehow she also found time to be employed. If she felt it was worthy of her time she gave it her full attention. While she cashiered at Heritages she also was a bus driver for Walt’s Bus Co. She sold Avon and Mary Kay products and the Woolwich Twp. Police Department benefited from her attention to detail when she was secretary there. Sundays found her playing piano at the Mullica Hill Baptist Church and teaching Sunday School. In the summer she taught Vacation Bible School. Her latest home was in Mount Wolf, Pa. where her new church gained a new member well versed in caring for children. rnGloria was the wife of the late Allen “Pete”, mother of: Scott Berlin, Abby Thomas, Libby Hunt, and Amy McCleod and grandmother of 13.rnCome celebrate 74 caring years Saturday at an 11am Service at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro.
