“Did you hear the one about the priest, the rabbi and the bartender?” When you ran into Greg he’d have a joke and a smile. He was always ready for a good time to break out: never happier than when he danced with a Yuengling in one hand and a girl in the other. Fridays were for guy’s night out; he and his grandsons would head out on some adventure; usually the Columbus Market or some car show or whatever caught their fancy. Greg played some baseball in his youth and was a sports fan for life. March Madness really was madness in his home. HGTV was always on at his house, though he wasn’t much of a fix it guy. Greg disdained most technology, proud to rock his flip phone. If it swam, Greg tried to catch it, especially when he was vacationing in Florida, Wildwood and the Poconos.
Through a circle of friends he’d meet a young Sherryl McFadden. Their 36 year marriage was blessed with a daughter, Malissa and grandsons, Dominick and Alexander. He is survived by his siblings, Janice Bennett (Robert) and Kenneth (Wanda); his Aunt, Martha Davis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. He was pre-deceased by his mother Jean Allen and brothers David and Jimmy.
