In the aftermath of World War II, Ingeborg would meet a G.I. named William and travel to the United States to start a new life. She had seen tough times and may have been strict as a parent, but it was always out of love. Her smile could light up a room. Later years found her and the late William retiring to Ormond Beach, Fla. She was blessed by two children, Mike Hamilton and Karin Johnson, two grandchildren and her beloved dog. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
