Jakob Scott Stellwag

Jakob Scott Stellwag was born on March 1, 1995. He joined the Stellwag family via foster care and he was officially adopted on October 16, 1998.

Jake was a vivacious and hilarious little boy. He was extremely creative, an amazing writer, and a dedicated video gamer. Jake was passionate about music, and he enjoyed diverse and eclectic artists. He loved the beach, roller coasters, and extreme rides. He was devoted to nature and exploring. Jake grew up surrounded by the love and care of a large family and many friends. He graduated from Delran High School in 2013.

Jake’s path as adult took him to many different states where he continued to connect with people who supported and loved him. He deeply valued his family and friends above all.

Jake’s struggle with mental illness ended on July 22, 2022. He leaves behind his parents Tara and Daniel Stellwag; his sisters Alexandria Pfeiffer and her husband Steven, Juliana Stellwag, and Alaina Stellwag; his nephew Jonah Pfeiffer, his Godsister Sarah Domm and her husband Michael; his grandparents Herman and Kathleen Mosteller and Henry and Sharon Stellwag; his Uncle Scott and Aunt Kristen Mosteller, his Aunt Alyssa and Uncle Scott Krisanda, his Uncle Randall Stellwag, his Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Robert Slough; his cousins Karina, Kyla, and Kelsea Mosteller, Stephen Schmitt, Caitlin, Keigan, and Gannon Krisanda, Christopher, Matthew, and Nicholas Gahm; as well as numerous other family and friends to treasure his memory. Jake joins his Aunt Jennifer Stellwag, his Nan Joan Hendrickson, his Gram Marie and Pop Frank Barnes, his Uncle Steve Schmitt, and his great grandparents MomMom and PopPop Mosteller and MomMom Kass and Old Pop Stellwag.

Upon his passing, Jakob donated numerous organs to the Gift of Life Foundation. His family and friends are honored by his heroic decision to become an organ donor.

Jakob’s Memorial Service will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park on Saturday, November 12th at 12:00pm. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, they would greatly appreciate a donation in Jake’s name to either of the following:
