“To be happy at home is the result of all ambition” – Samuel Johnson. This was never a problem for Janice. She didn’t need to search the world over to find contentment, when her house in Riverside was filled with friends and family she wanted for nothing. Sundays were meant for huge breakfasts and even larger family dinners. But, everyday was for the grandkids. They were the center of her universe; her skills with an X-Box or Wii always illustrated how much they meant to her. When problems arose, she was the first everyone turned to. She had the uncanny ability to quickly defuse any situation or forget an argument and see the larger picture. But, when she did have time away from the house, her favorite destination was Harrah’s in Atlantic City to battle the video poker machines.rn Janice is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jerald Chicone, her daughter Nikki Chicone-Shively (Walt) and her grandchildren: Samantha Chicone and Kasie Chicone-Shively, all of Riverside.
