Jennifer James

Jennifer James

Jennifer embodied the qualities of an exceptional wife and mother, showing unwavering care and dedication to the well-being of everyone around her.

Jennifer lived through her daily planner, as it served her as a second brain. Anything she needed to know would be written in there, and it is one of the reasons she was always on time and always remembered everyone in her life as well as when tasks would need to be completed. She maintained a pristine and organized home to live in. If you came into her welcoming home, you were bound to be greeted with love, laughs and hospitality. Like her mother, she was an avid watcher of TV shows, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and The Price is Right.

In the summertime, Jennifer enjoyed heading to the Ocean City boardwalk. This was one of her favorite places to be as a child as well as in her adult life with family. She enjoyed all of the shops and amusements the boardwalk had to offer. In her free time she would spend her days at shopping at stores, always looking to save a buck on something new for her home or closet. Saving money was something she was very good at and instilled in her children.

Family was important to Jennifer. She always made time to see loved ones who needed it most, take part and host family events and frequently visited those who had passed on. Her grandchildren were her everything.  Her greatest joy was found in spending quality time with them. The love she had for them gave her the will power to hang on during her toughest days.

Jennifer met the love of her life, Kenneth, through her co-worker Sandy. Sandy was the sister in law to Kenneth. Sandy had set them up, telling Kenneth that she had a “nice girl for him to meet”. Once they finally met, they realized they had been in High School together and had never met.

Jennifer and Kenneth were soulmates, destined to be together from the moment they crossed paths. Throughout their remarkable journey, they remained inseparable, cherishing each other’s company for an incredible 50 years of profound love and companionship.

Jennifer is survived by her husband Kenneth; his children Jessica James and Kenneth (Dana) James; his grandchildren Jesse and Nikko; sibling Lydia (Ernest) Cerce; niece: Cara (William) Allison and nephew Jared (Bridget) Cerce.
