John was from Riverside, but passed away at the Delaware Hospice in Millsboro, DE on June 4, 2012 at the age of 79.rnHe is survived by his former wife, and best friend, Constance Weindorfner of Sellersville, PA, his son, Dale W. Rush, granddaughters: Jennifer Jordon (Christopher) and Laura Rush and his great-granddaughter Eva Jordon. He is the brother of Frank R., Joan Onori, Dorothy Rush, Shirley Weber and Gary. He is also survived by his daughter Kathy Welk (Lawrence), grandson Michael Welk, granddaughters: Faith Zimmerman and Melissa Welk and his great-grandson Luke Matthew Zimmerman. He is also survived by his good friends Bill Siter and Hal Hosey.rnHe was preceded in death by his father, Frank Oliver Rush; his mother, Nellie Rush Zoll; stepfather, Rudolph Zoll; and siblings, Billy, Dorothy, Paul, Moe, Carol, Russell and Charles “Sonny” Rush.rnRelatives and friends are invited to call Friday from 11 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside, where the service will be at 1 PM.
