Her life was about helping others. Kathleen was the Director of Nursing at Rancocas Valley and Linn Hospitals even teaching CNA’s courses when she was in her 70’s. She loved being a grandmother: Kathleen rarely missed a birthday or special event. Earlier years found her camping and travelling even as far away as China and Italy. She loved to do needle point and advocate for her favorite causes..
She is survived by her sons: Leonard (Kathy), Joseph, Steven (Kim), and Thomas (Faith); grandchildren: Michael, Brian, Leonard III, Alexis, Jillian, Rebecca, and Christopher; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Come celebrate 90 years on Wednesday January 17, 2024 9am-10am at Sweeney Funeral Home, 478 Cooper Street, Beverly NJ 08010, where there will be a 10am service. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham PA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association (lung.org).

Mrs. Wendowski was like a second mother to me as a child. I was heartbroken when their family moved from Edgewater Park to North Jersey. Our families kept in touch over the years. Mr. and Mrs. Wendowski visited me here in Virginia many years ago. I felt so important!!! Top-Notch people 100%.
