Linda Boyd of Marlton,NJ. Born to the late Paula Marsiglia and George Edward Rice in Baltimore, MD. The family moved to Delran,NJ when Linda was a teen. Linda was very proud to be a member of the first class to go to Delran High School all 4 years.
As a mom she may have been strict but she certainly eased up as a grandmother: Linda was spoiler in chief with frequent trips to McDonalds and ice cream for breakfast, She did a little cooking; her lasagna was her best dish, loaded with ground beef, sauce and mozzarella. But more than cooking she liked to eat: Maryland Blue Claw crabs and going to Red Lobster for Birthday events. When she got loose she’d head to the casinos and battle the slots and if her T.V was on she’d be checking out some Law and Order, SVU, Live PD, and Judge Judy.
Linda is survived by her children, Christopher and Lindsay Boyd; siblings, Elaine, Tammy, Lisa (Eric) Wright, and Michele (Alan) Iwanicki; and grandchildren, Chris Jr. and Carson; 6 nieces and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her niece Rebecca and lifetime partner William Hurley. She passed peacefully on April 7th, 2021.
Come celebrate 59 years on Saturday April 17, 2021 from 11am – 1pm at Sweeney Funeral Home Riverside, where there will be a 1 pm service. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: The Future Enrichment Trust for her grandchildren.
