Margaret may have been easygoing but she loved to have a good time. She was a fighter and beat hospice twice mainly due to the care and devotion of her daughter, Betty Lou. In their 82 years together they were only separated for 2. They both cried every day till they were reunited. She loved her morning coffee and paper, watching Andy plow the fields on the tractor. Margaret was a fan of the Jersey Shore, but not quite. She wasn’t crazy about the sand and preferred being at the hotel next to the pool with a cocktail in hand and doing a crossword puzzle. Fridays were all about getting her hair done with Betty Lou and enjoying a drink after. She was a card shark, playing poker with Chippy, Pinochle with Anne, early morning War with the grandkids, and she was always pulling someone in to deal some cold hands. She even made it her Christmas Eve tradition. rn She was born on Mischief night and it was an omen for the rest of her life. She even made everyone dress in costume for her 100th birthday party. In her later years she would sit on the remote control to make sure Wheel of Fortune and Lawrence Welk didn’t get turned off.rn While visiting family in Iowa she would fall in love with and later marry the late, Ellsworth. Their marriage was blessed by a daughter, Betty Lou Redkoles and granddaughter, Margie Ann Redkoles, great grandchildren, Paul and Shana Redkoles, Amber Redkoles and Brian Almeida and her sweet great-great grandchild, Scarlett Winter Redkloles (people would marvel that they were 100 years apart). She is also survived by her honorary grandchildren, Linda Redkoles Baldo, Tom Paranzino, and Steve Redkoles and her faithful friends, Anne Paranzino, Andy Redkoles, Grace LaPalomento, Carol Leonetti and Sandee Finocchiaro. She was pre-deceased by her son-in-law Paul “Babe” Redkoles and her buddy and grandson, Paul R. Redkoles.rn Come celebrate 101 years of mischief Saturday 9 to 11 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro, where there will be an 11 a.m. service. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
