Albert Einstein once said “only a life lived for others is worth living”. He would have been moved by how Angelina led hers: never focused on herself she was always concerned for others. Time was best spent enjoying family. Her trips to Holiday Lakes and Atlantic City were never about enjoying the water, as much as it was about getting the family together. She traveled to Spain, Italy & Africa with her loving husband and in the years later she was eager to take each of her grandchildren on an adventure with her to nearly all of the western states. If you entered her home, be prepared to eat. Whether it was a sandwich or some of the candy she hid under the coffee table for the grandchildren you’d most likely be breaking bread with her. When not at home, she was usually shopping at every venue from auctions to the dollar store. Never afraid to make new friends, she’d strike up a conversation with anyone; strangers were merely friends she hadn’t yet met. And if you ever needed to know the latest celebrity gossip you’d only need to ask: be certain she’d know. rnNo one can be sure as to why, but in the early 1940′s, after purchasing a soda she decided she didn’t want it. Perhaps it was simply a ploy to hand it off to a young man named Carl. Regardless, it gave her the introduction she needed. It lead to 62 years of marriage, and the blessings of her son, Carl, Jr. (Joan) of Delanco; grandchildren: Carl III (Shari), Stephen (Tina Marie), Brian (Carla), and Kara S. McNulty, and her great-grandchildren: Carl IV, Justin, Zachary, Victoria, Nicholas, Jacob, Brian Michael and Matthew.rn Come celebrate 85 family centered years Tuesday 9:00-11:30 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Funeral Mass to follow at noon at St. Joseph’s Church, Beverly. Interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.rn –
