She was a hard working woman who emigrated to the United States from the Azores when she was 13. She was friendly to everyone. In her spare time she loved gardening and in recent years brought her love of flowers indoors. She was sick for the last 8 years of her life, but regardless of how sick she got, nothing could stop her from watching her kids grow up. Everything Maria did was for her children and care of her family. She always asked God not to call her before her kids were raised.
She is survived by her husband, Jorge Perinho; her children, George Perinho, Jr. and Amber Perinho and her sisters, Maria Joana Pacheco, Maria Graca Perinho and Estrela Pimentel and her brothers, Venicio Perinho and Teofilo Perinho.
Come celebrate Maria‘s life Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 9-10 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church, Riverside. Interment Lakeview Cemetery. –
