Mario Tome

The Lord took Mario Tome, 67, of Riverside, N.J. home on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014.

Mario was born on August 25, 1947, in Ansião, Portugal. He immigrated to the United States and has resided in Riverside since 1981.

Mario was a beloved and devoted father, grandfather and husband. He was a friendly, loving person and family meant the world to him.

He is survived by wife of 39 years, Maria Filomena; his cherished children, Helder and Nuno- married to Helena and his precious grandchildren; Logan, Gavin, and Adam.

Viewing Visitation will be held at the Sweeney Funeral Home, 337 Bridgeboro St. Riverside, NJ 08075 on Monday Sept 8, from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Vigil will be held at Sweeney Funeral Home on Tuesday Sept. 9, at 9 am. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at Jesus the Good Shepherd Church, Bridgeboro St. Riverside at 10:30 AM. The entombment will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery Bridgeboro Rd, Riverside, NJ 08075.
