Whenever she left her home, she looked perfect, hair and nails just right. Most likely she’d be doing some shopping with her friends; she loved the Christmas Shops. Pat maintained her friendships for a lifetime, getting together monthly with friends from high school. She enjoyed the occasional cocktail: cosmos and vodka with watermelon juice. Summertime found her heading down to LBI. She was a 1961 graduate of Riverside High School and a member of the First Moravian Church in Riverside.
While she was working as a detective for Bamberger’s she met a handsome Cherry Hill police officer, her late husband, Fred DeLuca. She is survived by her children, Scott (Christie) Poore and Nancy Jo Poore; grandchildren, Michael Wolanski, Nick Poore and Madalyn Poore, step-grandson Ryan, step great-grandchildren: Odin and Maya, and nephew Steve Genovese.
Come celebrate 79 great years Monday 10 to 11 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside where there will be an 11 a.m. service.
