Perhaps you did not know him by name, but there was no mistaking his warm smile and gentle demeanor. In Riverside and Delran he was always fast to greet people with a grin and a wave, even if they were just driving by. It would be nearly impossible to find a better neighbor. While delivering newspapers or working at OTC, he never left the job until everything was done. Bob would take it upon himself to bring in all of the trashcans and make sure everyone’s morning paper was by their front door on his paper route. A dedicated sports fan, he could recall every play in any game he saw. And although he sometimes mixed up the names of his 31 nieces and nephews, he took such pride in them that he knew all of their accomplishments. rn Bob was predeceased by his father, Joseph, and is survived by his mother, Jane, as well as his brothers Joe, Mike, Chris, Dave, Tom, his sister Jane, his 31 nieces and nephews and is the great-uncle to 19. rn Come celebrate 59 genuine and honest years (Feb. 20, 1950 – Feb. 10, 2010) Monday from 4-6 PM where Bob made his home at 17 Pancoast Blvd., Delran. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Delaware House Mental Health Services 25 Ikea Dr., Westampton, NJ 08060. Arrangements by Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. rn
