Robert Duccilli

“It’s not easy being 39, but I can still run the 100 yard dash in 3 days.” From serving our country in the Korean War to his devoted 60-year marriage to his wife, Robert’s life was one defined by honor, integrity, and respect. When his Army career came to an end, Robert’s leadership skills were on display at the Acme he managed for 45 years. In his day, Robert was known as the life of the party because of his senses of humor; a joke for every occasion that would have everyone in stitches. Robert loved to eat Italian food from New York City, where he would also have his drink of choice, a Manhattan. He loved the thrill of holding a winning ticket at Philadelphia Park and Garden State. The excitement kept him young; he still had a head of perfect hair. Anyone who met Robert knew he was a kind hearted and caring man that would rather give than receive. Robert’s generosity bought him pleasure, but more than anything, Robert loved being a dad and a granddad.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Campbell (Duccilli); grandsons, Jake Stone and Nicholas Stone; granddaughter, Gianna Campbell; nephew, Walter Szwajkowski (Lois); his niece, Irene Reilly (Szwajkowski) and her husband Joe; and several grand-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Duccilli; his mother, Mary “Mae” Duccilli (Cuneo); his sister, Marion Szwajkowski (Duccilli); and his wife, Myrtle “Trixie” Duccilli (Olesen).
