Robert H. Doyle

If his kids were involved in something, Bob would be right there next to them: band, bowling, baseball, softball.  Of course, he may have had to leave a few games for arguing with umpires.  And he played a little golf: saw Pinehurst and Augusta.  He cracked open the occasional Pabst Blue Ribbon and cheered his beloved Eagles, Phillies and Penn State.

He told it like it was but had a knack for getting along with everyone.  Just don’t argue politics with Bob: he was certain he was right.  New Year’s Day found him strutting: a member of the Golden Sunrise Fancy Brigade.  You knew when he was around Dimitri and Dakota: he had the biggest smile on his face.  He loved his one on one time walking them to and from school.  And if his T.V. was on he’d be checking in with his friends on the Young and the Restless and the Bold and the Beautiful.  When he left the house, he looked perfect; hair always cut, shaved perfectly, clothing pressed.  He served our nation in Vietnam. Working at Bell Telephone as a project manager earned him more than a paycheck. It’s there that he’d meet a pretty girl named Lu-Ann.  They shared a 31-year marriage and settled in Willingboro, NJ.

Come celebrate 75 great years Thursday, January 2, 2020 10 a.m. till noon at Sweeney Funeral Home, Beverly NJ where there will be a noon service.  Interment private.  Donations to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton NJ 08053 will be appreciated.
