Home was his sanctuary. After work he left all his problems at the door, put on his earphones and listened to the music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, especially the Beatles. He was so quiet that at PSE&G he was known as the Shadow. When he did speak, you‘d think it was E.F Hutton talking: people listened. He stressed with his girls that they could be whatever they wanted, no dream was too big or small, no career was just for males. In addition to coaching them on life choices he coached them in soccer and soft ball. He looked forward to his annual trip to Nags Head with “the boys” from PSE&G for some fishing.rnrnAs a young man he joined the Navy and was trained as an airplane mechanic. Their 29 year marriage was blessed with three daughters: Melissa (Robert) Iocona, Adrienne (Chris) Morgan, and Diane Park.
