“Don’t let your limitations shadow over your talents.” Regardless of what life threw her way, Robin remained the rock of her family. She was a hard worker doing everything from flood restorations to bartending; but supporting her household always came first. Robin knew what really mattered. If her T.V. was on she’d usually be trying to solve a mystery on I.D. and she had a love of horror movies. Robin hosted many scary movie fests. For vacation she headed to Disney, LBI and Seaside Park; always with her kids in tow.
Robin was a supervisor at T.V. Guide. In fact, she supervised a guy named George. Love at first sight quickly led to nuptials. They’d enjoy 29 years of marriage. She is survived by her children: Kristen Ambrose, Steven Asti, Dana (Charles) Work and Becky (Tim) Caron; her parents, George and Marietta Mahaly; her sisters, Terri (Tom) Boehm and Kristina (Lou) Crespo; and grandchildren, Alexis Asti, Edwin Ambrose, C.J. Work, Jacob Ambrose, Jaxon Work, Gianna Asti and Noel Caron.
Come celebrate 51 great years Thursday 3-5 p.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside where there will be a 5 p.m. service. In lieu of flowers donations to Scleroderma Foundation (Scleroderma.org) will be appreciated.
