Ronald Joseph Ristine Sr. aka Pop, Ron Rena, Ron, Double-R was born on April 5, 1975, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Maryanne Wiggins. Ron left this earthly life unexpectedly on March 21 st , 2024. Ron attended school in Philly and Wildwood, NJ. He later received his GED. Ron was a hard-worker and always kept a job. Throughout his life he worked at Morey’s Piers with his family, Earth Tech, and Manhattan Bagel for 9 years with his wife. Ron enjoyed spending time with family and friends which consisted of playing spades, cornhole, shooting pool, watching movies, cheering for his favorite football,the Eagles, fishing, taking vacations, time on the beach, partying, and being a goof ball. Whenever Ron came around you knew he would be the “life of the party”. He was also well-known for telling jokes. No one was safe and everyone was a target of his jokes except his wife because she made him promise not to tell any jokes about her before leaving the house. Ron was a good man, father, and husband.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Cassandra Teague, their 4 children, Sharaya Ristine, Ronald Joseph Ristine Jr. (Imani), Davian Teague, and Javon Ristine. His grandchildren, Juliette, Peyton, Sereniti, and Pharaoh. His siblings, David (Tasha) Concepcion, Sandra (Max Jr.) McGrath, Ivan (Zaleen) Concepcion Sr., Shannon (Kevin) Johnson, Ryan (Kailin) Teague, and Joey (Laren) Parker. A special aunt, Joanne Long. His father and mother-in-law, Carey and Adrian Teague. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Cecilio Concepcion, mother, Maryanne Wiggins, sister, Yvonne Casey Concepcion, maternal grandparents, Joseph and Catherine Ristine, paternal grandparents, Francisco and Santa Rodriguez, cousin, Ricky Long, and uncle, Robert Long Sr.
Come celebrate 48 great years on Friday March 29, 2024 from 2pm-4pm at Sweeney Funeral Home, 478 Cooper Street, Beverly NJ 08010, where there will be a 4pm service.
