Rose Marie Hunt

Rose Marie Hunt, of Clementon, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Born to James Joseph Hunt and Marguerite Lynch Hunt, Rose Marie was raised in North Philadelphia near Connie Mack Stadium before her family settled in Clementon in 1959. She attended John W. Hallahan High School and devoted her working life to caring for others. A certified nursing assistant, she served patients at JFK Hospital and in area nursing homes until the age of 70—bringing patience, steadiness, and a warm presence to every shift.

Rose Marie lived for many years with her parents and poured her heart into her nieces, nephews and her beloved shih-tzu, Molly. She delighted in trips to the Jersey shore and in dancing and music, loved Reba and never missed The Bold and the Beautiful. She lit up her home with holiday decorations that made every season feel special. Those who knew her will remember her laughter, her generosity, her signature red hair, and the way she made ordinary days feel like celebrations.

She was predeceased by her brother, James J. Hunt. She is survived by her loving sister, Marguerite Yaskowski; her sister-in-law, Margaret Mascio Hunt; her nephew, Larry Yaskowski and his wife, Yvonne; her nieces, Carol Kachur and her husband, Chris; Kristin Kravitz and her husband, Steve; Jacqueline Hunt Marshall and her husband, Jay; and Deborah Hunt DePetris and her husband, Mike.

She is also survived by her great-nephews and great-nieces: Bryan Yaskowski, Lauryn Yaskowski, Benjamin Kachur, Samantha Kachur, Charlotte Kachur, Colin Kravitz, Braden Kravitz, Dylan Kravitz, Ethan Marshall, Gavin Marshall, Jimmy DePetris, Nicholas DePetris, Michael DePetris and Emily DePetris.

Family will celebrate her life privately. Services under the direction of Sweeney Funeral Home, Beverly.
