A place for everything and everything in its place. Ruth’s world was neat and tidy all the way down to her junk drawer; everything spaced two finger widths apart. She never had an unkind word and was never too busy to help a friend. In fact, doing for others is what gave her the most joy, especially if it involved caring for her daughter, Ruthie. But, of course, family was always most important to her, especially her extended family. If she left Beverly (her home of 58 years) she’d most likely be heading off to Atlantic City or Parx with her family to battle the slots. Or for vacations to Bermuda or Florida for Disney and to see her sister. Ruth enjoyed attending the Senior Program at the First Baptist Church in Beverly where she met new friends. She loved the lifetime Channel and Family Feud with her Cat, Miss Kitty, by her side. She was tiny but strong and enjoyed living the simple life.
Ruth was the wife of the late Thomas and is survived by her beloved little Ruthie Dreher; her brother, Kenneth (Peggy) Bright; nieces, nephews, cousins, and her best friend Evelyn Dedmon. She was predeceased by her siblings, Lester Bright, Fred Bright, Howard Bright, Lois Yansick, and Vivian Hoff; and her parents, Lawrence and Edna Bright. A special thank you to her physician Dr. Albert Dow, who always went above and beyond by doing home visits.
Come celebrate 84 great years Tuesday October 18, 9-11a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, 478 Cooper Street, Beverly where there will be an 11a.m. service. Interment Monument Cemetery, Beverly. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Githens Center, 40 Cedar Street, Mt Holly NJ 08060.

Aunt Ruth You will missed so much by so many… Especially Me. We have been through so much with Uncle Tommy and Little Ruthie.
I have not been down to see You but I know You understand why…. because that’s how You were (so understanding in every way possible). I will hold You close to My Heart forever.
Rest Easy and enjoy your Reunion with Uncle Tommy and the rest of the Family.

Aunt Ruth will be missed. I personally will miss our phone calls. She and I would catch up with what was going on in our lives. She would keep me informed with the Beverly news which was wonderful. I only wish we had more time to talk.
Love, Georgia Lee
Such a special lady. So Very nice and friendly. I met her at the beauty shop 9 years ago when I started working there. We spoke to each other every Thursday morning for 9 years. Rest easy Ruth.
