The editor of Bridgeton’s 1946 High School yearbook got her right. Next to Ruth’s name was written: Continuous babble…live wire…caution…impulsive…day wasted without fun. She continued with her fun and laughter throughout her 80 years. Ruth was the Queen of one liners, passed on great jokes and was quick witted. She kept smiles on the faces of fellow workers at Erdner Trucking, members of Swedesboro Presbyterian Church, and Aged to Perfection Seniors. rnLeft to carry the laughter mantle are her son, Joseph and daughter, Connie, a brother, Ralph Gardner and a sister, Alice Boston and four grandchildren: Matthew and Elizabeth Peterson and Danial and Gina Cardillo.rnA private graveside Service at her request was held at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Elmer.
