Salvatore “Sam” Cali, age 67, of Bear, DE, passed away at home on January 17, 2009 with his family at his side.rnSam was originally a Southern New Jersey vegetable farmer with his family in Swedesboro and Mullica Hill, NJ. He later was employed by the USDA as a poultry inspector on the Eastern Shore of MD and then as a USDA fruit and vegetable/commodity inspector in Philadelphia. His last employment was as head of quality control for Procacci Brothers Sales Produce CO. in Philadelphia, PA.rnSam Cali is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rosemary of Bear, DE, his two sons: Sam, Jr. of Bear DE, Dan and his wife, Mary, of Dover, DE and his five treasured grandchildren: Victoria, Rosemary, Anthony, Sophie Ann and Natalie. Sam is also survived by a brother, Russell and his wife, Gisela of Woodbury, NJ and sisters, Sara Marino of Thorofare, NJ and Mary Pino and her husband, Nick of Moorestown, NJ, and Brother-in-law Alfred Genovese of Mickleton, NJ.rnHe was pre-deceased by his parents, Salvatore and Anna, a brother, Michael, a sister, Natalie Genovese, and brother-in-law, Anthony Marino.rnFreinds may call Friday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Daley Life Celebration Studio, 1518 Kings Highway, Swedesboro, NJ.
